Every machine is different. Your book should tell you. Usually the water goes in first with the flour and then the yeast last. You dont want the yeast to get wet

    BREAD MACHINE BREAD RECIPE

Yield: 1 medium loaf white bread.

    1 1/2 tsp. yeast
2 1/2 tbsp. nonfat dry milk

Put ingredients into bread baker in order given. Ingredients should be at room temperature. Choose setting on automated bread machine and in about 2 hours enjoy fresh bread. Amount of time varies with the make of machines.

    WHITE BREAD (BREAD MACHINE RECIPE)

    1 cup warm milk
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon butter
    3 cups bread flour
    3 tablespoon sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Put ingreadients in 1 lb. bread machine in the exact order given.
Start the bread machine. Use the light setting in your bread machine.

You may also use the rapid cycle on your machine. Because of the milk and butter it’s not recommended to use the delay cycle.

hope this helps. good luck and enjoy.

salt, sugar, oil or butter, first then the liquid- Milk water buttermilk, yogurt- the flour or flours and then the yeast. The book should tell you. bread machines are pickey, BUT they take the work and worry out of bread making. Oh yes the eggs (if any) go in at the liquid stage. Most machines have a timer to tell you when to add raisins or nuts. I no longer bake my bread in the machine I make the dough and bake it myself.
We really like it better that way.
